How to stand out with such overwhelming competition?

It might sound simple, but the best way is to simply BE YOURSELF. One of the worst things you can do is compare yourself with anyone! Since there will always be people who are better than you, as well as you will be better than others. I remember a friend of mine who had a BA (Hons) in Business Studies who locked himself away in his bedroom at his parents house for 2 weeks! He felt so embarrassed to have had a Third, not a First or a 2:1. He was so upset until I said to him, 'You are in the top 10% of the UK who have degrees.

We are all at different stages of life and can be influential at any stage! For example, encourage someone, help them with a project, work as part of a team, be a leader voluntary or paid, be part of a course to learn something new.

All of the above is preparation to BECOME the best you can be in the incredible opportunities the 21st century we have a part to play, a unique part to play in the place, the community, the job, your family and nation.
